We made it to Matahuala, MX (halfway to Mexico City) safe and sound! We crossed the border and through a couple other check points with nothing more than a little questioning about the amount of stuff we were carrying and a couple extra checks on the paperwork for the dogs. Tonight we're staying in a nice hotel here and enjoying some rest. We had a long night last night when the air conditioning at the place we were staying stopped working sometime after midnight. Needless to say, we're all ready for a good night's rest in nice air conditioned rooms.
Thank you for your prayers! They were felt. Tomorrow should be a pretty calm day of driving into Mexico City.
